Italjet was founded in 1959 by Leopoldo Tartarini. The italian company started off manufacturing motorcycles to then expand into mopeds and scooters in the following years. With the Ascot range (Adventure, Classic, One, Sport) they also recently introduced electric bikes into the pool of offered products. In the years 2000-2002 they had a short appearance in the 125 cc MotoGP with several riders on the Italjet F125. Italjet's products are generally seen as very realiable and enjoy a good reputation.
